WHITE HOUSE UPDATES

President Trump delivered a special message to the Nation at the beginning of the Congressional Baseball Game, concluding with, “I leave you with three great American words that for generations have torn down barriers, built bridges of unity, and defied those who have sought to pull us apart. Ladies and gentlemen: let’s play ball!”

President Trump delivered remarks and signed an Executive Orderto expand apprenticeships in America.

Many American workers are being left behind as current education and training programs fail to equip them with the skills they need. President Trump’s plan to expand apprenticeships will not only keep jobs in America, but ensure that American workers are trained and hired to fill those jobs.

President Trump commends Mexico for its leadership in co-convening the Conference on Prosperity and Security in Central America with the United States in Miami, Florida.

Principal Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Sanders held a press gaggle yesterday where she delivered a statement and answered questions from the press.
