WHITE HOUSE UPDATES

President Trump withdrew the United States from the Paris Climate Accord on Wednesday, June 1, and said, “My job as President is to do everything within my power to give America a level playing field.”
President Trump delivered remarks in the Rose Garden at the White House where he gave his final decision on removing the U.S. from the Paris Accord saying, “the United States will cease all implementation of the non-binding Paris Accord and the draconian financial and economic burdens the agreement imposes on our country.”
President Trump is putting American jobs first by withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord. Get the facts here.
Yesterday, President Trump held a call with Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, President Emmanuel Macron of France, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada, and Prime Minister Theresa May of the United Kingdom. The leaders all agreed to continue dialogue and to strengthen cooperation on environmental and other issues going forward.
